Compact and easy to move design
FDFDFD'>SGM-9 Can be with The combination of EMP-3 (portable mercury measuring instrument) and WLE-9 (gas mercury pretreatment device) has a lightweight and compact body, making it easy to move and greatly reducing the workload of high-altitude flue gas measurement that was difficult to complete in the past.

Mercury concentration in flue gasdetection
The built-in air pump of EMP-3 introduces flue gas into WLE-9 (gas mercury pretreatment device) through a heating pipeline. The pretreatment process of WLE-9 is as follows: 10% tin chloride solution is added to the first gas washing bottle to reduce Hg2+in the sample gas to Hg0, and acidic gases (such as SO2, NOX, and HCl) are removed in the second gas washing bottle with 1 mol/L KOH solution. Then, the moisture in the gas is cooled, condensed, and removed through an electronic cooling device in the third gas scrubber bottle.
Afterwards, the gas was introduced into the absorption cell of EMP-3 and the total mercury concentration in the flue gas was detected using atomic absorption spectroscopy at a wavelength of 253.7 nm.
FDFDFD'>Its measurement range is very wide: 0.1~2000 µ g/Nm3, with a response time of only 1 second. The measurement data is stored in CSV format in the internal memory of the instrument and can be exported to a USB drive for data analysis.
FDFDFD'>In addition, all reagents and solutions will be automatically discharged and replenished.
Scalable measurement capability for various valence states of mercury
By combining two sets of SGM-9, real-time measurement of metallic mercury and total gaseous mercury can be easily achieved.
In the WLE-9 (gas mercury pretreatment unit) of the first group (SGM-9T), in order to measure the total mercury in the flue gas, the sample gas needs to pass through
10% tin (II) chloride solution reduces oxidized mercury to metallic mercury.
On the other hand, KCl solution was sent to the WLE-9 of the second group (SGM-9E), so only gaseous metallic mercury could be measured.Use this system (and
Running two sets of SGM-9 can measure the different valence states of mercury, namely metallic mercury and gaseous total mercury.
